Computer Supported Collaborative Learning for Developing Higher Order Thinking Skill in ELT

The practice of integrating pedagogical approaches using multimedia technologies has become one the common interests in field English language teaching (ELT) recent years. This research study attempts at studying characteristics computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) tasks used for developing students' cognitive skills within CSCL approach context ELT higher secondary school education Nepal. Non-participant observation assigned to students class two different schools, and semi-structured interviews with were as tools. It was found that useful enhancing some students, though many gave more attention enhance lower order thinking rather than their skills.
